Have you tried lots of hand creams and not getting the result you want? Well, I can’t say I have as I am not a fan of organic products and rarely use hand creams, my best go-to are usually natural home remedies, although my hands are not exactly soft, and my feet definitely need some comfort, the type a hand cream offers to the hand.
Hence when the idea to try out a hand cream popped up, I wanted to give it a try and see if there is anything I’m missing when it comes to hand creams.
For this reason, we picked the super cheap JR Watkins Natural Moisturizing Hand Cream to try and now I have some opinion about it, this post does offer you some insights on JR Watkins shea butter hand cream if you’re still on the fence about buying.

Everyone’s opinion on hand cream differs as we all have different skin types and reaction to skincare products differs too however it’s best to know beforehand if a hand cream is worth buying and that’s what you’re about to find out.
Does This JR Watkins Hand cream offer a lot for the price?
Frankly, anyone on a budget might easily pick this option at the price it’s offering, the ingredients labeled on it show it might be friendly on the hand and you might just want to get it immediately and that is totally fine.
The first day I applied it on my hands, it did irritate my hands though and I couldn’t wait to wash it off although I would attribute that to the fact that I haven’t used hand creams in a while however it did feel better the next day.
The effect is not lasting either but for that price, you should definitely give it some consideration.
How About The Packaging And Scent?
I went for the lemon fragrance option and that can be a little bit overwhelming and for those who get easily nauseous, you might want to squeeze little quantity at a time, after applying on your hands though, the scents tend to become bearable, soft and if you love lemon pie then you would love the scent.
JR Watkins comes in a portable tube you can easily carry in your bag and personally, for the price, it’s offering, the packaging suits it just fine, it is also easy to squeeze out of its tube without smearing it all over the cap which is kind of rare with most tube products.
Final Thoughts On This Hand Cream?
Every product has its advantages and disadvantages and that’s the fun of it, If you wash your hands a lot and it’s always dry then I might recommend you try out JR Watkins but for cracked hands and to frequently keep your hands moisturized.
It has hydrating effects on your hands although it won’t moisturize it immediately but with time it keeps your hands from drying out when it is washed.
JR Watkins does have a mild lemon fragrance but you only get that when you use minimal quantity at a time, too much of it might give a strong lemon/lavender oil scent.
